Best way to extinguish Candles
When it’s time to put a candle flame out, remember to use a snuffer always. Because it is a simple and safest method to extinguish a candle. Using a snuffer will help to avoid the hot candle wax splatter. Since the candle wax will be very hot, you would not like to touch it.
Here are some types of candles and how they can be extinguished:
- Firstly, Pillar Candles , Jar Candles and container candles, can easily be dunk the into the melted wax and then straighten, verify that you center it for an even burn.This way it discourages smoking and encourages an easy re-light.
- Other stick candles such as Tapers and Spiral Taper Candles should be snuffed out using a smokeless snuffer.Also, Fluted and Votive candles can simply be extinguished with a smokeless snuffer.
- To extinguish Tea-light candles first you have to know the proper re-light, tea-light candles can only be extinguished if they are just less than half burnt. A smoke-less snuffer should be used to snuff out the candle flame
Never put a candle flame out with water. Water can cause the hot wax in your candles to splatter. There is also a chance that the glass container of your candle may also break.
After a candle has been burned to the point where there is only 1/2 inch of wax left in the bottom of the container, stop burning. The candle is now finished. Never burn a candle all the way down.
